Engaging Fathers with Connect
For a variety of reasons, it can be difficult to reach fathers and engage them in participating in parenting programs. We are working collaboratively with fathers, foster fathers, Connect facilitators and stakeholders to increase father participation in Connect programs by addressing the unique barriers to inclusion fathers may face, and designing strategies tailored to father engagement.
Fathers can play a pivotal role in supporting their children’s emotional and social wellbeing, yet engaging fathers in parenting programs remains a challenge. In this video, we talk to fathers and Connect facilitators to explore ways that facilitators and service providers can support fathers’ participation in Connect.
This brief video offers fathers insight into why Connect may be a parenting program to attend.
This compelling video highlights the collaborative work of Fathers Incorporated, a leading national nonprofit in the USA, with the Connect program. Witness the transformative power of fatherhood as we delve into the lives of fathers who, with the support of these initiatives, have overcome barriers and forged strong, nurturing bonds with their children.
