Connect in Kenya

Connect was piloted in Bungoma, Kenya in spring 2023

This pilot group consisted of 11 caregivers ranging from grandmothers, aunties, and mothers to the teens in reference. Feedback from the group was positive and parents reported that the program was relevant and appropriate for the Kenyan context.

“...The program met my needs in a way that I understand more about parenting. For example, before I joined this program I never understood that all behavior has meaning. But through the role plays I came to understand that in case a child behaves in a certain way, she may be meaning something.”
